Does the job well - some noise on the jack
A simple KVM switch that lets you work on two machines. Installation is straightforward: just plug in the cables, no configuration required. No problems recognising peripherals (at least with two Linux machines). Peripherals work well, with no noticeable delays or aberrant behaviour of any kind, and good image quality (in DisplayPort). However, there are a few noises when headphones are plugged into the jack. As both machines are powered via the same power strip, this could be the source of the problem, and could possibly be improved by using a better power strip, but this has not yet been tested.
The delay when switching is moderate, around one second.
We also like the compact size of the box, the small button for the switch that comes with a small cable and can be fixed in a convenient place, and the relatively modest price.
