Super practical because the box can be hidden, it can be managed remotely with the keyboard. (press twice quickly on "scroll lock")
Reaction time of less than two seconds before complete display, keyboard reset...
And for the price, nothing to complain about...
I bought this kvm here a little over 10 years ago. since then i use it almost daily. apart from the need to disconnect the vga plugs (max 1 x /year) it's perfect. i just bought a new one recently because my new laptop wasn't passing video. with the new kvm it works. the firmware has evolved between the 2 kvms.

This KVM box handles different resolutions well. The "detachable" cables are practical because if one of them is damaged, it will not be necessary to change the box.
On the other hand, it would be good to have at least 2 of the longer cables, as it is not always easy to connect everything depending on the configuration of the workshop
I have to unplug a VGA port from time to time to get the unit to work again but overall I have been happy with it for over 2 years, it is plugged in 24/24 and I use it everyday, I have tested a lot of KVMs and this one is my favourite.
I was very happy with it until yesterday. The usb keyboard/mouse module doesn't work anymore. I bought it just a few months ago. It is quick to switch from one station to another.
The cables supplied are of good quality.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing a problem with the TK-407K 4-Port USB KVM Switch Kit.
The TK-407K uses a pass-through architecture. When switching, you essentially disconnect your hardware from one computer and connect it to the other. Please allow enough time for your PC to recognize and load the drivers for your console. The channel must be active for hotkey switching and Num Lock is another hotkey for operating systems that do not have Scroll Lock as a mapped key, Mac OS and Linux for example.
If you have any third party hardware between the TK-407K and your consoles or computers, please remove it to exclude any interoperability problem. This includes any type of interface converter, extension cables or docking stations.
If your mouse and keyboard appear as an unknown device, please turn off the TK-407K by unplugging all KVM cables at the same time and then plugging them back in.
