Poor fastening quality
Great difficulties to clip this fan on the motherboard. The fixing is so difficult to make it fit that I put back the original Intel ventirad.
0 dB mode for perfect silenceThe Alpine 12 can switch to passive silent mode when the PWM signal is below 5% due to its new motor. This allows you to work on your PC in complete silence without any unwanted noise.
It is equipped with an updated motor and works much more efficiently than its predecessors. Due to the sinusoidal magnetisation, the new motor creates only 5% of the vibrations resulting from the switching of an ordinary DC motor. These factors help to save energy, lower the coil temperature and minimise vibration without compromising performance. |
High quality ball bearingThanks to a new alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction in the bearing is reduced and its efficiency increased. This way, there is less heat generation, less noise and a longer life of your fan.

Great difficulties to clip this fan on the motherboard. The fixing is so difficult to make it fit that I put back the original Intel ventirad.
Installed in a multimedia office PC with an i7 4790, I can't hear it running. Perfect. To be seen as I get older...
Very simple installation, useless thermal paste as it is pre-coated, without disassembly (no back plate), even if I had to go back several times to lock the 4 fixing lugs.
The good little fan, for the delivered processors, without. Mounted on an Intel Celeron G4900 (3.1 GHz) (Bulk) . PWM function to send wind when it heats up. Ideal for desktop station, almost inaudible at 20° ambient temperature.
