The price is very high for the performance it delivers, so I'd recommend watercooling instead.
250w tdp, not mine in any case.
It looks great but I don't think the performance is up to scratch. You can always try and send it back if you're disappointed. Personally, I've kept it for a PC that doesn't heat up very much.
My processor doesn't heat up at all!
It's bulky, but that doesn't matter, given its efficiency.
Very large ventirad, not to say immense. Solid, high-quality construction. Very easy to mount on an Intel, thanks to the backplate and large screwdriver supplied. A syringe of thermal paste is also supplied, but there's no little squeegee to spread it, which is the only negative point. Two very quiet fans and very good cooling. I have another, smaller one of the same brand, which has been running trouble-free for over 7 years. I hope this one will last just as long.
I use it on a ryzen 3900x for professional work that requires a lot of resources.
It's like night and day compared to the waith prism from amd, which let the processor rise to more than 85°, making a lot of noise. With this dark rock, I don't go above 65 in silence. (plus the be quiet silence box).
This Ventirad was insufficient to cool an i7 14700k processor. A pity, because on paper it was sufficient.
