A worthy heir to the legendary NH-D14, from which its construction was inspired, and continuing the relentless quest for silent cooling performance, the NH-D15 is Noctua's flagship model. This ventirad, built around two finned blocks, is the most advanced model for the most demanding users. Thanks to a more open heatpipe design and the integration of two top-of-the-range NF-A15 140mm PWM (for automatic speed control), it further improves on the performance of its famous predecessor, the NH-D14. Complete with the top-of-the-range SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, NT-H1 high-performance thermal paste and a full 6-year manufacturer's warranty, the NH-D15 is a top-of-the-range solution for fans of both overclocking and silence.
Noctua's NH-D14, which has won more than 350 awards and recommendations from the international specialist press and the Internet, has become one of the most famous high-end radiators ever built. With its size and dual ventilation based around two NF-A15s, the NH-D15 pushes the limits of performance and silence even further, supplanting the famous D14.
Compared with traditional monolithic radiators, the NH-D15 is built around 6 heat pipes and two finned blocks, offering a larger heat exchange surface area, better heat distribution and greater comfort.This provides a larger heat exchange surface, better heat distribution and maximised air flow thanks to the use of two fans.
Compared with the NH-D14, the NH-D15 's radiator has been enlarged (150mm compared with 140mm for its predecessor) and the heat pipes have been spaced further apart, ensuring that the heat is distributed more evenly and spread over a larger surface area. All this contributes to the NH-D15's improved performance.
Thanks to its low recessed fins, the NH-D15 offers 64mm of available space for high memory modules in single fan mode, making it compatible with most high-end memory modules on the market. When using both fans, the NH-D15 generally requires the use of standard size memory modules (maximum 32mm).
The NH-D15 is equipped with two top-of-the-range Noctua NF-A15 140mm fans. These meet the Noctua AAO standard and benefit from aerodynamic design optimisations (such as Flow Acceleration Channels).Flow Acceleration Channels), the NF-A15 has earned an excellent reputation as one of the best 140mm fans on the market.
The top-of-the-range NF-A15 fans supplied with the NH-D15 are PWM compatible for automatic speed control via the motherboard. In addition, to further reduce noise levels, the fan speed can be capped (from 1,500 to 1,200 rpm) using the Low Noise Adapter (L.N.A.).
Noctua SecuFirm2 mounting systems have come to embody quality, safety and ease of assembly. Compatible with Intel LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156), LGA1200, LGA1700 and AMD (AM4, AM5), the SecuFirm2 system included in the NH-D15 is the guarantee of perfect contact pressure and ease of installation on today's sockets.

This ventirad is massive, so pay attention to the space available in your case. It is high enough to leave room for RAM modules, but you may need to invest in low-profile modules depending on your motherboard.
I had the equivalent on my old PC. This new version is perfect. Excellent cooling and no noise. However, there are 2 details to be aware of. There is a conduction tab included, a detail I never managed to find, hence the extra purchase. And once mounted, it takes up space to say the least. Beware of too short cases!
Easy to mount, quiet, and extremely efficient (mounted on a core i9 xtreme edition.
Does not exceed 65°, even with 36 threads using AVX512 instructions.
Better than the previous watercooling, which failed...
By far the best air cooling.
I've used it on 3 machines for several years. Even on my oldest machine (an Intel I7 3770k OC to the core for 7 years that runs every day) no worries (I just changed the thermal paste after 4 years just in case...)
The fixing system is exemplary and the instructions perfectly explained (assembly in 5 minutes on your motherboard)
After that, it's a bit huge! I use very large cases where the motherboard is horizontal to avoid the weight of the fan and the graphics card to force too much on the motherboard (thermaltake core X5 and its more modern descendants)
So if you have the space it's the best.
The ventirad is high enough to leave enough room for the RAM strips ... The LOW PROFILE is however strongly recommended.
