Version specially dedicated to the AM4The NH-D15 SE-AM4 gives the new AMD AM4 platform access to the acoustic and cooling performance for which the NH-D15 is renowned. With a dissipation capacity that can cope with extreme temperatures, it enables overclocking enthusiasts to push their AM4 system to the limit. Maximum RAM compatibility and dual ventilationThanks to its low recessed fins, the NH-D15 offers 64mm of available space for high memory modules in single fan mode, making it compatible with most high-end memory modules on the market. When using both fans, the NH-D15 generally requires the use of standard size memory modules (maximum 32mm).Compared with the NH-D14, the heat sink of the NH-D15 has been enlarged (150mm compared with 140mm for its predecessor) and the heat pipes have been spaced further apart, ensuring that the heat is distributed more evenly and over a larger surface area. All this contributes to the NH-D15's improved performance.
The NH-D15 is equipped with two top-of-the-range Noctua NF-A15 140mm fans. Meeting the Noctua AAO standard and benefiting from aerodynamic design optimisations (such as Flow Acceleration Channels), the NF-A15 has earned an excellent reputation as one of the best 140mm fans on the market. |
PWM and Low Noise Adapter (L.N.A.) compatibilityThe top-of-the-range NF-A15 fans supplied with the NH-D15 are PWM compatible for automatic speed control via the motherboard. What's more, to further reduce noise levels, the fan speed can be capped (from 1500 to 1200 rpm) using the Low Noise Adapter (L.N.A.).In addition to cooling the CPU alone, the imposing NF-A15 fans deliver a significant flow of air - below the finned block - to the motherboard's components and heatsinks, ensuring ideal cooling of the latter. Noctua SecuFirm2 mounting systems have become the ultimate benchmark for quality, reliability and ease of assembly. The SecuFirm2 system for AM4 can be installed in the traditional way or with a 90° swivel, to guarantee excellent compatibility and optimum flow, taking into account the constraints of the case. |

Yes: it takes up a lot of space with its double fan and imposes itself by taking up almost 1/4 of the volume of my tower
but
It does a great job of being silent and cooling!

Perfect, very good material. It was just what I wanted. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
Excellent fridge, but beware of the size!
Acquired for a new Ryzen 9 processor: it is even bigger than my previous Noctua NH-U12P (which cooled an Intel 7).
Although I have a respectable sized case, I had a bit of trouble fitting it in. If you want to fit the supplied 2nd fan, you won't have access to the memory sticks - unless you fit it the other way round, in which case you'll have trouble fitting a large graphics card into the dedicated PCI slot.
Alternatively, you may need a more than respectable sized CM (mine is the MSI B550 carbon wifi, which feels a bit cramped in front of such a monster).
The part is rather large and imposing but it still fits in most PCs so look at it before buying but if you are considering getting it go for it head on.3
It's a huge ventirad that does a more than efficient job! You just need a tower that can accommodate it and possibly support it: it's not a lightweight, nor a midget.
It's not watercooling but it cools very well with or without a workload or video games. It is very quiet and I can't hear the fans. Very good purchase and for the delivery, always a pleasure to see a well packed package and without physical damage

this ventirad is huge ! but it does its job very well
RYZEN 7 processor overcloker this one has 45 ° with fan in autonomous average speed of 800 rpm so in silence!
I recommend it.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change their processor. It supports up to 240W (currently 75W max).
