I received it quickly and well protected as usual, it heats up a bit 47° after a few hours of transfer (plugged on a usb dock so not ventilated), good To/price ratio, you can hear the hard disk scratching at times (hence one star less). Good transfer rate 182Mb/sec (my seagate 8Tb 5900trs drive does 125Mb/sec but it is a bit old, on the other hand it is silent).
When I got out of the box, plugged into the NAS, one of the two disks slammed and the NAS showed a hardware failure.
I had to leave one of the two old disks at the end of its life to plan the replacement of one of the two disks ordered, so ...
I contact the SAV to ask for the replacement of this one. To be continued...
Product received by Chrono post, 24 hours after ordering. The packaging is very well done and resistant to shocks. I use this drive as a system backup and have no problems. I recommend this Western Digital hard drive and LDLC's excellent service.
The advisor on the phone was very responsive and gave me advice on how to change my initial choice for better and cheaper.
It does the job perfectly.
the NVR on which it is used is in a computer cabinet, no particular noise pollution.
To be seen for the longevity.
Just broke down after 2 and a half years of non-stop use (video surveillance in a Synology NAS). The reliability claimed by the manufacturer does not seem to be there!
I've been using it for a while now and I'm not sure if it's working properly...
No feedback on this disc yet, so far so good. No noise and good flow. (in this range)
Used in a video surveillance system, this disk is absolutely inaudible.
It does not vibrate and heats up very little.
Perfect for this purpose.
