The hard drive will have lasted me more than four years since I bought it. The hard drive will have lasted more than four years, on average between 3 and 5 years.
I use it to store my games that don't take long to load, as well as my photos and videos. No errors, easy to install and well recognised by Windows.
I've only ordered western digital for a long time now and have never been disappointed. It works very well and is of good quality.
I bought 2 hard drives of this model at the beginning of 2014, so almost 10 years ago.
Since then I've had nothing to report, they both work as well as ever and the transfer rate is very good. They're quiet (which is not at all the case with other hard drives I have at home).
In short, they're a great value.
