Ordered with a 3.5" Barracuda 4TB at the same time, the controller just jumps around randomly. I guess the power supply isn't enough? No stability at all, I fear for the drive now! I strongly advise against
But...
Strangely, for 2 different hard disks used in the 2 cases I bought, the partition that was present was not recognized in this case.
I remove the disk and put it in another case, no problem, the data is there.
So, to be able to use the 2 enclosures with hard drives, I had to reformat them.
After that, no problem and the newly formatted disks are perfectly recognized in other boxes too.
Strange behaviour.

Its little brother IB-373U3 has just stopped working after 3 years and 4 months, also used 24 hours a day, the disk has not suffered. Maybe because of a power failure?
So I recommended this one to replace it
I was looking for an external enclosure for a 3.5" SATA hard drive on a USB 3.0 port, and after a thorough search on the internet I found and chose this one for the qualities of the ICYBOX brand.The main body in aluminium, the LED indicator for power and HHD access as well as the UASP function were determining for me.The main body is made of aluminium, the LED light for power and HHD access and the UASP function were all decisive factors for me. 1TB HDD, recovered from my old PC, works perfectly and it allowed me to have an external backup solution at a lower cost.
With my two 3.5' disks it runs but slows down and runs again, with 3 different power supplies. Impossible to make it work. Bad quality then. In 2.5' it's fine. I'm sending it back for exchange or refund if possible.
