    Perfect

I've installed a good old 3TB HDD and what I like most is the old-fashioned on/off switch on the back, which is much less fragile than the contact push-buttons fitted to most cases.

Does the bare minimum in average quality

POSITIVE: I chose this box because it is the only one on this site, which according to its technical data sheet, accepts disks of more than 2Tb. I can confirm that it works perfectly. I have installed a 10TB HDD and it works perfectly, no problem.

NEGATIVE: The rear panel, where the connectors are located, is a disaster. The dimensions are more or less 2mm, and the panel moves around in its place.
The panel is fixed on 2 mini plastic lugs, barely drilled. You have to screw like crazy at the risk of breaking the 2 plastic hooks. I find this finish/fixing lamentable.
Another drawback is that the drive never goes into standby until it is disconnected from Windows. This is very unfortunate because as long as the computer is on, the disk is running, even if you don't use it all the time.

LDLC service VERY GOOD, product AVERAGE

I am very pleased with the service provided by LDLC: fast shipping, quality of the package etc...

Average product: the cables are getting shorter and shorter: 60 cm for the USB cord and 1 m for the power cord: Economy Economy ... .
Note: The light on the front panel is a hard drive access light when reading data and not a power on light, be careful what you are looking for.

    Not serious

At least 1 mm of play: the DD moves inside! and can hit the sides.
The rear panel fixing holds the whole thing together, but again it's terrible: the 2 screws make their thread in the plastic when first screwed in. So unreliable and don't screw it in too much.
I almost sent it back, no time, I'm going to tinker with it.

2 stars because it worked with a 4GB HDD under linux
