    A catastrophe!

I was this box with two WD red 1TB disks to have a backup and a safe storage. The result was that the box failed (it was not detected by any computer), the hard drives worked without any problem, I tested them before sending the NAS back on a simple dock. I have to admit that I was not able to read the disks (even though they were in the same RAID 1 configuration), they did not appear anymore and I was asked to format them, which I obviously did not want to do. I took them to a computer shop to try and recover the data which did appear on the disk but no file could be read. So I paid 250€ for a safe storage and to be safe and as a result I lost all my data (including business data and photos) and I paid for a data recovery attempt, I am furious!

The box is no longer detected correctly and the hard drives are inaccessible,

The box is no longer detected normally, and the pc asks to format the hard disks, even taking the two disks out of the box they are unreadable, I put back two other hard disks and the same one after one day

Power failure after just over a year

The box does not light up overnight but the data was intact. Fortunately, it was sent back under warranty.

    Not reliable

RAID box purchased with 2 x 2TB seagate barracuda drives set to Raid 1, all to ensure storage of family archives and photo/video work. The storage system lasted barely 20 days due to a partition problem (everything worked fine at first, then suddenly I got the error message).
The drive was formatted in NTFS and the TestDisk analysis told me it was FAT32.
In the end, I lost 1 TB of data and a year's worth of video work that never went online.

    Hot notice after installation

    Works well in RAID 1.

It is important to specify that when you inject "raw" HDDs. You have to configure them with the Disk Management tool (Windows). They won't magically appear in the file explorer as I thought :( I would have preferred a better documentation/manual, which is very rudimentary and not in French, to guide me more clearly even if for the it guy it may seem obvious.

Note: if your disk(s) are marked as 'unknown'. Right click on the left hand side of the disk and select 'initialize disk'.
