An ingenious, high-performance box
I used it to make backups.
Being able to insert two SSDs is very practical because their small size is often a handicap. So you can get close to the size of a conventional HDD in a relatively slim and small case with the performance of the SSD.
The aluminium casing is robust. Once closed, the product is solid (although I do have a small reservation about the plastic parts over time).
By default, the drives are viewed separately (it is possible to do otherwise), which suits me fine.
At first I thought it was necessary to plug in the mains plug - which I must admit I wasn't very happy about.
I tested it without and it works perfectly: the product can therefore be used without the mains plug on a relatively recent PC (mine must be 3 years old).
I deduce from this that the mains plug is provided in case the PC's power supply fails to provide the necessary current to the USB port.
The product is therefore close to perfection. I can't comment on performance because I'm not an expert in this field. However, the performance is very good (above that of conventional HDDs, and often it's the USB that restricts throughput).
