Very good
I've been using it for two years and it still works.
I've lost the front cover, but the heatsink is doing its job.
I'm very happy with it.

I was worried that the cooling fins would make the device too bulky because I travel a lot. but not at all. in the end, it's the cable that's almost more bulky... I'm looking for the shortest one possible.
Seemingly well-designed, it turns out that after several months of use, a major defect (the only shadow) darkens the picture: a horizontal gap settles on the Usb-C plug, which as a result makes poor contact. And I'm said to be too fussy about my equipment, so I don't have to tell myself it's my fault! I have to disconnect and reconnect the cable on the Usb-A side until it's recognised by my TV or PC! I'm afraid I'm going to lose my drive ... ! I tested another cable, same problem ... it seems to be a design and adjustment fault on my 2 cases.
Otherwise, as far as cooling and transfer performance are concerned, there's nothing to complain about.
Hello,
I bought a Samsung M2 SSD 970 EVO plus to use as an external drive. I was going into the unknown. I have to admit that I did well: saving space. It's like a big flash drive. It's a bit hot but ok.
I recommend it.
