This external enclosure is designed for M.2 SATA interface SSDs and has a special "B KEY" switch on the bottom right of the connector. This disruptor prevents the introduction of PCI-Express NVMe or AHCI formatted M.2 SSDs that are not compatible with the internal chipset.
