As data reliability is my absolute priority, I already had this product, so I bought its little brother to sing my heart out in my new NAS.
RED drives designed for continuous operation. They're reliable. They don't heat up. I already have several. Never a problem.
Good reputation.
Very difficult to find this type of drive for a server and have it delivered so quickly. So much appreciated.
The read and write speeds are not overrated.
It remains to be seen how many hours the HDD will work. I bought this HDD to replace a Toshiba which lasted 9 hours. The warranty worked without a hitch with LDLC. I decided to pay the difference in price to get a Western Digital.
The price is forgotten, the quality remains.
The server, backup and mediacenter disk model par excellence.
It has the lowest incident rate in the world.

4 disks bought in December 2023 for my NAS
Disk 1 out of order after 3 months
Disk 2 out of order after 13 months.
I strongly advise you not to buy these disks, except as furniture wedges or paperweights.
Order arrived quickly, well packaged, no problems with the equipment, trouble-free installation, in short, perfect!
1 years after purchase, it worked well, it was responsive, I had even put my system partition and my games and from one day to the next windows no longer starts but the other partitions are accessible but slow and (copy paste).
In short, I'm pretty disappointed.
I liked the capacity of the drive, its compatibility with the Synology server and the ease of installation.
I am very satisfied with the product ordered and received quickly as every time I order from LDLC, I highly recommend this site.
