This Hi-Res Audio model is capable of capturing a sound performance at up to 24-bit/192kHz and features two AKM converters with Velvet Sound architecture.
A wide range of functions are available to meet all your requirements. An SD card slot for up to 128 GB is also included to ensure that you can back up your music at any time. Tascam pro brand from TEAC, DR-100MKIII recorder test
I am not a professional sound engineer, but a simple amateur who started at the age of 30 with a Revox and who was looking for a high quality digital recorder a few decades later. I found it with this device, finally much cheaper than the Revox at the time. You can do everything with this device but I would have two small reproaches: it does not stand up without a suitable stand and its menu is not very intuitive (for a novice...) otherwise a professional has everything for a perfect use. It doesn't use all audio formats, but for me it's good enough. I wish you a good use.

Good sound, good ergonomics, doubts about durability
The sound is really very good and the machine will do perfectly well for studio recording. TSR inputs, large screen and easy to access menus thanks to dedicated buttons, sensitivity adjustment of both LR tracks at the same time, headphone jack, nothing to complain about regarding ergonomics and sound quality.
On the other hand, the aluminium shell is very light and thin, so much so that the slightest contact is transmitted to the microphones as if it were a stringed instrument case. It is also quickly scratched in normal use (tripod attachment). The wheel around the enter key is difficult to use, two fingers (torque) and low pressure will be needed to get the best out of it. I have the distinct impression that the shell will break at the first fall, especially the cage around the microphones. It is a shame that the unit is delivered without any accessories, a case would have been welcome.
The amps are so good that I started field recording. With 32gb, you can record for a very long time with an excellent quality, the sound is really the strong point of this small recorder which it will be necessary to supplement with a windscreen and a suitcase (one finds some at aliexpress).
