In post-production, you'll be able to work with the sound you've captured, whether the levels are extremely low or high.

Featuring the dual A/D converters and low-noise preamps found in our professional F-Series recorders, the F3 guarantees high-quality recordings, whatever the setting and situation.
The F3 is built with heavy-duty sidebars, a standard tripod mount and non-slip rubber feet, allowing you to mount it on your equipment or conceal it in any scene. Its robust metal casing and lockable XLR connectors are designed for use in a variety of environments.
Monitor your recordings with pinpoint accuracy, as the F3 displays the waveform of your audio signal in real time.
Headphone output lets you keep an ear on your recordings, while a line output lets you connect your camera or other equipment.
A whole day of worry-free capture
The F3 is well equipped for long outdoor shoots or field work, with a variety of power options and ample storage.
Built-in power : With two AA alkaline batteries (not included), you can enjoy up to eight hours of battery life. With the choice of an alternative power supply, overcome the limits of battery life with the AD-17 AC adapter or a USB battery (sold separately).
Store your work directly onto a microSD card (up to 1TB) to record over 180 hours of audio at the highest possible sample rate and bit resolution.
The F3's versatile control options give your production more flexibility than ever. Stay out of the frame and record from up to 10m away using the F3 Control app for iOS and Android.
Connect the F3 to a computer or iOS device via USB as an audio interface and record or stream up to two channels with the crystal clarity of 32-bit floating/96kHz resolution. The return function allows you to combine your computer's audio signal with that from the F3 's inputs to complete the sound of your stream.
