The NOCTUA NH-U12A has nothing left to prove! It does its job well without making too much noise.
It's only the price that remains high for 2023 I think.
I'm happy with this efficient ventirad, as I'm not a fan of watercooling, I wanted a ventirad powerful enough to cool my Ryzen 9 5950x.
All in all, it does the job well and I've got some room for manoeuvre in the future.
My old cooler master half x case also helps, as does my air conditioning.
Used with an AM4 socket. The assembly instructions are very clear and the assembly is easy.
The noctua website has a very good interface to find out which motherboards, processors and cases their cooling systems are compatible with, so I didn't have to get the calculator out =)

Beautiful, first Noctua replacement for an Enermax Liqfusion 240, well, the piece does just as well or even better under full load under Prime95 with a Ryzen 3600 at 4.2 Ghz -_-' and a little more it makes less noise than before :D

Replaced an unsatisfactory liquid cooling system (although branded).
Super easy to install. The 120mm fits perfectly on the CM (MSI listed in Noctua's compatible models), which comes with a good thermal paste.
The fans are in Smart mode, my i7 7700K runs at 25° ç 4.2Ghz,
OC at 4.8 on the 4 cores, it does not exceed 70° under bench stress. That is 12° less than before at 4.6Ghz.
All this in a great silence at rest.
You can't hear the GPU fans in full boost!

Easy to assemble. The included allen key is very handy. My RAM is not in lowprofile and I can put 4 bars if necessary. Its size does not interfere with other components. Used to cool a Ryzen 3950X. So far, I have not exceeded 75 degrees under heavy use. Even at full power it's not that noisy.

- To fix it, you still have to force the screw on the second side. It's harder than on the video. The colour of the fans is not very well chosen (chocolate brown) but it's not serious.

With a core i9 9900k @ 5ghz I do not exceed 75 degrees under occt linkpack. In game no more than 50 degrees during long sessions. It installs very easily and takes up much less space than a noctua ndh 15 for similar performance. The price is a bit of a drawback, but it's still the best alternative to a wc aio for those who want to stay in air cooling.
