With a footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-DL9 does not encroach on memory slots or PCIe ports on all Intel ITX motherboards and most models for AMD. The included PWM-compatible NF-A9 fan automatically controls rotation speed, ensuring surprisingly quiet operation.

A second optional NF-A9 can also be installed, in Dual Mode, to meet any increased performance requirements.     Simply perfect performance/dimensions! But beware of adapters!

    Excellent performance! Exactly what you need!
    -> Used to restore a PC that was switched on for the first time in 2011! (Win7 x64 Cpu AMD Phenom II X6 1055t) confirmed this afternoon perfectly stable at 36°c on Witcher 3 in medium! This processor was known to be very temperamental when the heat was on, so this Noctua is perfect for sensitive procos! And its dimensions are perfect for resteints.
    BIG BEMOL, the adapter, precious adapter (Noctua AMB8) for socket AM3 was not in the box contrary to what is informed on their own site! But Noctua sent it to me, and it took a lot of patience, so I'm finally going to be able to clear my living room of the bulk of PC parts.
    Next purchase a more powerful compatible Gpu to test in medium/high and other to see the maximum it can still handle without overclock (old graphics card gtx 650 deceased replaced by GT730 troubleshooting) but finally it revives.
    -> It's a great buy for your new and old machines, its dimensions are really perfect when you're short of space in the case but beware they do NOT systematically send the adapters mentioned (nb I informed ldlc big up to them ^^).

    Yesterday I made a derogatory comment about the mounting system of this fan. Shame on me! I had read the instructions wrong: all I had to do was remove the fan before fixing the heatsink on the socket and, above all, to accept that this fan, once put back in place (after screwing it in), would be a bit higher than its original position.
    In my defence, I was used to receiving Noctua heatsinks in parts (unmounted fans) and as on this one, the fan was already fixed, I (hastily) concluded that it should not be touched.
    Once this is said, I have to admit that the equipment is of great quality and particularly quiet.
    And now I'm off to the salt mines for a few weeks to learn to think a little before posting ill-founded recriminations.

    Impossible to reach the fixing screws correctly because of the ventilator, which prevents a straight screwdriver from going through... straight (the one supplied by Noctua or another): the screwdriver must necessarily be inclined and, as a result, the screws cantilever out and refuse to be screwed in correctly. Never mind, says the smart guy: I'll take off the ventilator, and then I'll be able to screw straight. Good thinking, but... once the heatsink is attached, it's impossible to replace the fan unit, because the screws are now tightly screwed in, but they won't go in. And, of course, there is no indication on this subject in the manual, which only invites you to screw the screws in (well, that's something!)
