The Noctua NH-D9L chromax.black is an all-black version of the famous Noctua NH-D9L compact dual-tower CPU cooler. Its exceptionally small footprint not only ensures full 3U compatibility, but also means that this model fits perfectly into compact HTPCs.

Exceptionally quiet!
The Noctua NH-D9L chromax.black is an all-black version of the famous Noctua NH-D9L compact dual-tower CPU fan. Its exceptionally small footprint (15 mm less than conventional 9 cm models such as the NH-U9S) not only ensures full 3U compatibility, but also enables this model to fit perfectly into HTPCs.HTPCs and enclosures with a reduced form factor, where the airflow runs parallel to the motherboard.
With a footprint of 95 x 95 mm, the NH-DL9 does not encroach on memory slots or PCIe ports on all Intel ITX motherboards and most models for AMD. The included PWM-compatible NF-A9 fan automatically controls rotation speed, ensuring surprisingly quiet operation. A second optional NF-A9 can also be installed, in Dual Mode, to meet any increased performance requirements. Complemented by the SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, a real top-of-the-range reference in the field, and the famous NT-H1 thermal paste, the NH-D9L is a very compact premium solution ideal for restricted environments.

- The NH-D9L chromax.black is black from head to toe. With its black-coated radiator, fan with black fasteners and silent blocks, and black mounting hardware, this model is at home in black configurations.
- The NH-D9L is a tower-type model that blows parallel to the motherboard. It therefore offers better ventilation performance in cases with suction (front) and exhaust (rear) fans that create an airflow parallel to the motherboard.
- The NH-D9L is only 110mm high, making it ideal for 3U cases.
- With its compact 95x95mm footprint, the NH-D9L does not encroach on memory slots on Intel LGA/1851/LGA1700/LGA1200/LGA115x and AMD AM5/AM4 motherboards, whatever their orientation during installation.
- The NH-D9L chromax.black is supplied with Noctua mounting bars for AM5 dedicated to remote mounting, enabling the ventirad to be installed with a 7mm offset towards the south of the socket, thus increasing the quality of contact just above the CCD(s).
