Performance and efficiency
When running on batteries, the Eaton 5P UPS delivers a high quality sine wave signal, ideal for powering sensitive equipment such as servers with active PFC (power factor correction). You can extend the service life of the battery by extending the input voltage tolerance (via the display or software) to adapt the UPS to a specific environment (generator set, for example).
A user-friendly interface
The LCD screen provides clear information on the status and measurements of the inverter (in 7 languages). Advanced parameter-setting functions are available using the navigation keys. 5P measures the energy consumption of connected equipment globally. These values (in kWh) can be managed via the LCD screen or Eaton's Intelligent Power Software suite.In the event of a prolonged power cut, load segmentation allows the least necessary equipment to be switched off, reserving battery autonomy for essential equipment. The 5P has serial (RS232) and USB communications ports, as well as a free slot for an optional card (SNMP/Web network card or dry contacts card). Eaton's Intelligent Power software suite is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualised environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
