TheEaton 5PX 2200i RT2U is a line-interactive UPS that provides efficient protection for servers, storage systems and network equipment. It is a very modern UPS for the protection of today's equipment: a new generation LCD display, up to 99% efficiency, the possibility to measure the power consumption at the level of a group of outlets, an extension of its autonomy thanks to external battery packs.

Industry first: the 5PX measures energy consumption down to the level of socket groups. These values (kWh) can be managed via the LCD display or Eaton's Intelligent Power Software suite. Load segmentation allows the least necessary equipment to be switched off during a prolonged power outage, reserving battery life for essential equipment. This feature is also used for remote reboot and sequential server startup.
The 5PX has serial (RS232) and USB communications ports, as well as a free slot for an option card (SNMP/Web network card or dry contact card). Eaton's Intelligent Power software suite is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualized environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.

The 5PX is a rack/tower convertible system - feet and slides are included for all models at no additional cost. Extend battery life: The battery is managed by Eaton's ABM® technology which only charges the battery when needed, preventing corrosion and significantly extending battery life. The batteries are hot-swappable without having to switch off the connected equipment. With an optional maintenance bypass module, you can even replace the entire UPS. Up to 4 external, hot-swappable battery packs can extend the operating time from a few minutes to several hours. These battery packs are automatically detected by the UPS.
