Excellent 5Px inverter (better than gen 1)
Taken in replacement of my old 5PX 3000 of first generation which decided to stop functioning after more than 10 years of good and loyal services, this generation 2 and much better than the gen1.
It powers a renderfarm and workstations, consisting of 6 machines and several other network and miscellaneous devices (and must therefore be able to support them at full load, when rendering 3D, while giving me a comfortable backup in the event of a power cut (if the power goes out and I'm on the sacred throne, and I don't have to run urgently to stop the machines etc., the 5 px Eaton responds perfectly to the need (for back up, not WC)).
The fans are much quieter compared to generation 1... You can hear them in a largely bearable way (music, TV, or a PC with the fans starting to spin at 50% will be more than enough to cover those of the inverter), after 48 hours after a power cut, or the first charge, it just becomes perfectly silent (where generation 1 continued to make a noise like a hoover)...
The new interface on the inverter is also better thought out.
In short, an excellent UPS that easily supports several PCs in full load CPU and / or GPU, which can be used in a quiet environment and not necessarily industrial (cuckoo gen 1), to see in time, but so far I have never been disappointed by Eaton.
