Good quality inverter, but a little noisy.
First of all, I'd like to point out that this is the second Eaton UPS I've bought.
The first model was the Ellipse Pro 1200 version that I always use for my PC, TV, home console, etc.
Having never had any malfunction or battery problems (for +/-5 years), it was logical that I should stick with this series.
From what I can see at the moment, the 1600 has the same qualities and faults as the 1200.
+ It protects my equipment very well in real time (equipment always in good condition despite power cuts and storms) + The number of sockets is just right for my use (look carefully for the type)
+ Durability over time (for the 1200 version, as the 1600 is too recent a purchase).
+ The inverter's EcoControl function can be useful, depending on how you use it.
- The noise of the inverter when in use, which is logical given that this series is equipped with ventilation (do not put it in a bedroom as you risk not sleeping).
- The weight. But that's quibbling (a large battery is bound to weigh a lot).
