TheEaton 9SX inverter continuously monitors the power supply conditions and regulates the voltage and frequency. The internal bypass ensures continuity of service in case of overload and inverter failure. An optional maintenance bypass is also available to easily replace the inverter without shutting down critical systems. With a power factor of 0.9, the 9SX delivers 28% more power than any other UPS in its class. It powers more servers than other UPS systems with equivalent VA and lower power factors. The Eaton ABM battery management system is based on a three-phase charging technique that extends the life of the battery by up to 50%.
Flexible operation
The tiltable LCD display clearly shows the status of the UPS and the power data. The unit is also highly configurable. It provides the recommended battery replacement date. It offers enhanced configuration in 8 languages. It can measure power consumption down to output group level and allows monitoring of kWh values via its display or the Eaton Intelligent Power software. Load segment control (on output sockets) ensures that non-essential equipment is shut down first, maximising the life of critical equipment. The 9SX features serial and USB connectors, as well as a communication card slot. Eaton Intelligent Power software ensures seamless integration with popular virtualization environments and cloud management tools.
