Very good quality and beautiful design
I like the design of the case, which makes it quiet, the space in the box and the cable management. I recommend it because it's easy to dismantle to add components and the layout is very well thought out.
The be quiet! Pure Base 500 is a mid-tower case with a quiet design that allows you to assemble almost any configuration based on a mini-ITX, micro-ATX or ATX motherboard. The optimised interior space allows for up to 5 SSDs, a 190mm high fan and a 369mm graphics card.
Be Quiet! has taken care of the quiet operation by installing two Pure Wings 2 140 mm fans and by fitting the Pure Base 500 with insulating mats on the front, sides and side panels. There are also plenty of cable storage options to hide unwanted cables.
The Pure Base 500 offers generous dimensions for the installation of high-end graphics cards and large cooling systems up to 190mm high. Fans or heat sinks up to 360 mm can be easily installed in the front. The upper area offers space for fans or radiators up to 240 mm.
Two pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans with optimised blades ensure perfect airflow and constant cooling. Despite the compact design of the case, the front and rear fans are 140mm models, ensuring very quiet operation, and three additional 140mm fans can be installed as an option.
The power supply cover perfectly covers the cables, the power supply unit and contains a double hard disk rack. The double HDD cage with decoupled brackets reduces vibrations and helps to maximise silence. It can also be repositioned to fit radiators up to 360mm in front. Using the PSU bracket, the power supply can be easily installed from the rear.
The front, side and top panels are fitted with insulating mats, providing high stability and optimised noise reduction capabilities. Dust filters at the front and bottom are easy to remove for cleaning.

I like the design of the case, which makes it quiet, the space in the box and the cable management. I recommend it because it's easy to dismantle to add components and the layout is very well thought out.
Fairly large tower with several hard drive slots
Convenient, well-placed cable glands.
Cables are already attached and fall through the grommets.
This is my first "modern" case with power supply at the bottom. The space management is very well thought out, there is room at the back to run cables, access to the motherboard is really "clean", and cleaning will be greatly facilitated.
On the other hand, the case is very wide (23 cm), which should be taken into account in your interior design if you have little space.
I have a black version without glass, and I think it's a shame that there is no light on the front to indicate whether the PC is on or off, especially as if you don't put a classic hard drive inside, it will be perfectly silent when not in use. So there is a real risk of thinking the PC is switched off when it is in standby.
With a 3.5" HDD you can hear a whirring sound, so the case is not totally silent but it is still acceptable.
My big regret, even if I bought this case knowingly, is the absence of a usb-C socket on the front, even though we know that this format has more future than the two usb-A.
If you have the budget, the space, and you're not an LED fan, don't hesitate to spend 30€ more than a basic box to buy this model. You will simplify your life.
This was my first time mounting a computer, and this case is really simple. With its mesh grilles, it benefits from a very good air-flow. However, I regret the lack of a usb-c port on the front, and mounting a 360 water-cooling on the front is not the easiest thing to do.
As I am not an expert, this opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.
I had an old ATX tower for 15 years, with a broken front panel and an open side cover because the last fan was too high, impossible to close the tower :). I could not hear anything in terms of ventilation. Since I changed my tower for this Be Quiet! I have a "light" ventilation noise when the case is closed, which I couldn't hear with my old "totally open" rotten tower, it's very strange o_O". Anyway, apart from this slight noise, everything else is great, optimized, and of very very good quality. Some of the accessories provided, 120mm fan, dust filters, for someone like me who doesn't care too much about design and performance, are not useful to me.
I like this tower for the space it offers for the elements to be installed.
But I have a problem with the cover, which is not completely waterproof and therefore insulates less from noise than the Pure Base 600. It allows for LED effects that I don't need.
But overall it's good quality.
When I opened the tower my first reaction was: "Damn, there are no slots for my disks!", but in fact everything is optimized inside to save a maximum of space everywhere and optimize the air flow.
I changed my tower because my gaming computer was a bit noisy especially during gaming sessions, but now I can hardly hear it anymore!
Just the right amount of space to keep things simple, well designed, perfectly ventilated and quiet
a great case from a visual point of view
the front panels can be removed very easily and the screws remain attached = very practical
the layout is well thought out even if sometimes it's a bit ric-rac. For example, to connect my front cable I had to dismantle an inner plate without being able to put it back afterwards because of lack of space.
otherwise the box is very quiet
I ordered this tower as part of a configuration order based on the September/October 2020 PC Update magazine.
I am very happy with my new configuration and this very quiet case.
I was a little surprised at the size of the case but I had a HP Compaq as a base.
The package is well done and the delivery in shop is ideal if you have one not too far away.
