16 Gigabit copper ports

Using your low-cost Cat.5 twisted pair copper cables as the transmission medium, these ports allow you to instantly upgrade your servers to Gigabit capacity without the need to install expensive new fibre cables. All ports support automatic 10/100/1000Mbps network speed detection and automatic full/half duplex negotiation.

Gigabit Full Duplex Access Server

The Gigabit ports provide dedicated bandwidth so that your server operates at 2000Mbps full duplex. This avoids bottlenecks and allows workstations to connect to the data server simultaneously.

Self-adjusting ports in MDI/MDI-X

All ports automatically adjust to MDI/MDI-X crossover or straight-through, eliminating the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Any port can be connected to the server, a hub or another switch using traditional twisted pair straight-through cable.
