CBS110: Affordable Plug & Play Switch for SMBs
The Cisco CBS110-16PP switch offers 16 Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, 8 of which are PoE-enabled (for a total budget of 64 watts) and is ideal for bandwidth-intensive cloud applications and video services. Unmanageable, it is fully Plug & Play and automatic Quality of Service (QoS), network loop detection and cable diagnostics make it easy to deploy and maintain.
Everyday simplicity
Cisco Business 110 switches are plug-and-play and require no software installation or configuration. Each switch port automatically and independently configures itself to provide the optimal speed and automatically determines its mode of operation: half-duplex or full-duplex. As a Cisco standards-based solution, Cisco Business 110 switches are also designed to immediately support all devices on your network.
Designed for the small office, Cisco Business 110 switches are available in 5-, 8-, 16-, and 24-port configurations, providing maximum flexibility for multiple uses and deployment scenarios. Cisco Business 110 switches are also available in compact desktop and rack-mount models. The desktop models allow for discreet wall mounting under a desk or on the wall of an office or conference room. None of the switches are equipped with fans. All are quiet and unobtrusive.
Advanced technologies
All switches include advanced Cisco traffic management features to keep applications running at peak performance. Intelligent Quality of Service (QoS) built into all models automatically prioritises delay-sensitive services, such as voice or video, to improve your network performance. Loop detection detects inadvertent loops in the network, preventing storms that can slow down your network. Cable diagnostics can quickly identify and fix network cabling problems. Fast Store and Forward switching identifies damaged packets and blocks them from being forwarded on the network. All of these features are automatic, with no management or configuration required.
Cisco Business 110 switches are designed to promote energy savings by optimising power consumption without compromising performance, protecting the environment and reducing energy costs. In addition, they support Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az), which helps reduce power consumption by monitoring the amount of traffic on an active link and putting it to sleep during quiet periods
