Intelligent web interface
The DGS-1100's web-based user interface provides a simple way to manage Layer 2 features such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and link aggregation (static). With powerful security features such as IGMP Traffic Monitoring, Static MAC and Storm Control, the DGS-1100 Smart Series is a versatile solution for environments that require easy-to-deploy and configure solutions without added complexity.
Simple deployment and management
D-Link's free Network Assistant (DNA) displays all connected devices and speeds up the initial configuration. The free D-View 7 network management system comes with a 25-node, 2-probe license and full access to management tools. Optional upgrade licenses allow you to expand your network and analysis.
Easy troubleshooting
The DGS-1100 Series includes loopback detection and cable diagnostic features to help network administrators detect and resolve network problems quickly and easily. Loopback detection is used to detect loops created by a specific port and to automatically power down the affected port. Cable diagnostics allows network administrators to quickly examine the quality of copper cables, identify cable type and detect cable errors.
