With this Cisco bundle of the Catalyst WS-C2960L-8PS-LL switch and five Aironet AIR-AP1815I-E-K9C access points , you have a complete solution for creating or expanding wireless coverage in your business network. You get an 8-port Gigabit PoE+ switch and two SFP ports to power your Aironet access points and many other network devices.

The Catalyst 2960-L switches, because they pack PoE+ and basic Layer 2 functionality into a slim, fanless enclosure, provide the flexibility and cable reduction needed in tight spaces or where equipment cannot be integrated into wiring closets (shops and branch offices). The 2960-L series offers 802.1X compliant authentication capabilities for connecting to access points. Operational simplicity is at the heart of the Catalyst 2960-L switch design and aims to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO). As a result, the Catalyst 2960-L features power saving capabilities and an online interface for easy management, as well as automatic WAN deployment capabilities.
 

Mobility Express Solution


Mobility Express Solution is a Virtual Controller solution embedded in Cisco Aironet 802.11ac Wave 2 access points. One of the terminals acts as a controller and can manage up to 100 other access points. Simple, efficient and deployed in minutes, this solution integrates :
  • Advanced controller features to optimise network performance through simple rules and Cisco Best Practices.
  • Simple to configure through a graphical interface and configuration wizard. Configure your installation in less than 10 minutes.
  • Over the air provisioning allows you to configure terminals without having to wire them
  • No physical controller to buy, no licenses to pay.
  • The solution is redundant from the second Mobility Express kiosk onwards, so there is no need to purchase a second controller for high availability
