Unstable PoE in contrast to the previous model (DGS-1100-08P)
This D-LINK switch DGS-1100-08PV2 (8 PoE ports) was purchased to replace an older model DGS-1100-08P (also 8 PoE ports). Unfortunately it turns out that the PoE functionality is not very stable on this new 08PV2 model: since the migration, electrical connections are lost several times a day on the D-LINK DAP-2610 access point powered by this new switch, while this problem does not occur with the old 08P switch. (I find it hard to believe that the two D-LINK products are not compatible). For the rest, this switch gives satisfaction and is configured almost in the same way as the old model.
