Ubiquiti's US-8-60W Unifi switch is fully manageable and features 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE for optimum, intelligent performance to build an excellent network. It has 8 Gigabit ports including 4 IEEE 802.3af/at autodetection PoE ports or 24V configurable passive PoE to simplify your infrastructure. By default, the Unifi switch automatically detects 802.3af devices that can receive PoE. For devices with 24V passive PoE, you need to use the UniFi Controller software to control the ports.
The UniFi Controller software lets you configure and monitor the switch and all other uniFi devices. From the interface, you can configure the various PoE ports, choose the mode of operation ([switching, mirroring, or aggregate) per port, choose the network/VLAN configuration, manage network properties, etc.
