After 2 years, dead battery, my old inverter lasted 4 to 5 years, the 9AH of the battery seems to me limited for an inverter of 650W.
I read everywhere that it's reliable, and yet 2 years and 3 days after purchase the battery is dead...
I wasn't really convinced by this inverter. APC is a good brand, but it only lasts 2 years, which is less than my previous inverters. What's more, when you switch it on, there's a strident buzzer that's really too long, it's not very discreet and it's annoying. In short, I won't be buying this model again.
The inverter is easy to commission, but the diagram for connecting the battery is unreadable. A little effort, APC.
Used to protect a computer system and the box in a village where there are frequent power cuts, the thing does the job. Very quiet in operation. In the event of a power cut, it signals the cut without tearing your ears, a good point for it.
On the other hand, the lighting of the front panel by leds was not essential, the on/off button would have been enough. This debauchery of light can be practical to get up at night, otherwise I do not see. The inverter heats up slightly, which is normal, it also heats up if it is switched off, but remains connected. It is therefore necessary to unplug it in case of prolonged absence.
This inverter heats up quite a bit, even when it's switched off and just plugged into the mains, I can't understand why.
When running with just a box and an office PC plugged in it heats up a bit more.
I'm afraid that in the winter it will be 35 degrees in the summer. And the beeping when it turns on is deafening.
So pretty average actually.
Works perfectly with Linux (after installing the "apcupsd" package. Behaviour (low battery level, critical and actions to be performed) is managed in KDE power management as if it was a laptop.
The estimated autonomy is 25 minutes (powers a Ryzen 3600 + 4x8B RAM + 2 SSD + 2 HDD + RX 560).
This UPS meets my need to maintain available power to open my electric gate in the event of a power cut.
Efficient inverter in case of power cuts. Allows to keep a Nas operational as well as the internet box. To be recommended.

I am immediately VERY satisfied with this 1200 VA without fan, so no noise pollution... the 2 more powerful models of the same range are ventilated and that can be annoying.
Very good surprise, the UPS power supply is immediately recognized by the Mac.
Indeed, it is an in-line model connected USB with the computer: macOS (Monterey) does not require any software addition, the UPS allows to set the systematic extinction according to 3 distinct events:
- shutdown if the battery backup lasts more than (adjustable) 1 to 15 minutes,
- shutdown if the backup power reserve falls below (adjustable) 1 to 15 minutes,
- stop if the load is below (adjustable) 1 to 100%...
Previously equipped with an off-line UPS 600 VA less sophisticated, it happened that the backup lasts too long and exhausts the battery, thus extinction "dirty" of the computer, which can corrupt data in the course of work on the computer in activity and stopped suddenly.
Product conforms to Apr, cold start, autonomy may be a little low. Good value for money.
