Small, quiet and efficient fan. Unfortunately, there's no information about the connection, which is 3-pin, much to my regret. As a result, there's no Pw for speed variation.

I have a CPU core2 Q8300 which is listed on the Intel site as having a LGA577 socket. The motherboard has 4 threads for 3mm screws. The fan lugs are 4mm when tightened to the maximum: it doesn't fit. I didn't try to hammer these tabs in. Should I have? If you have a motherboard like mine (see photo), try another fan.
The Ventirad is better than the original Intel one, no problem to install on socket 1151 motherboard.
However, I regret that LDLC charges shipping costs for a delivery in one of their own shops
It's a real pain to install, I have a motherboard (socket 1151) so the ventirad should be compatible, but impossible to fix the 4 pins around the processor.
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.
A robust fan, to replace the basic one for an Intel processor in lga775. It's a bit too much to go on but it ventilates well for the moment, to be seen on the long term, the processor being just an old Intel core 2 the heat production remains low, to see if it would support a mini overclocking.
This ventirad is not practical to install on a Socket 1151, the pin system is not very well designed, the fact is that you will have to press like crazy so that the 4 go in at the same time, we are at the limit of breaking the motherboard.
The cooling is ok but it's nothing special.

The thermal paste is pre-applied and the installation explanation is clear.
Given the price, you shouldn't expect drastic changes compared to the basic Intel venirad, but it seems to be doing a bit better anyway.
For the moment it is rather quiet, no problems to report.

Product arrived on time. Packing as good as the protection. Installation level rather easy, although Intel does not make it easy ^^. Very good product, quiet, excellent value for money, thermal paste supplied and installed.
Installed on CM ASUS P8Z68-V-Pro for I7 2800K LGA1155, mechanically it is not perfect, almost impossible to lock the 4 fixings without taking the risk of breaking the motherboard.
However, even mounted on "3 legs", quiet and cools well.
Thermal paste applied originally, in my opinion a little thick and my problem may come from there!
The product does the job, but the 19dB announced is not much quieter than the original Intel fan of my Core i5-6500. So there's no point in buying it, as silence was the only reason to buy it, since there were no heating problems.
I have tried many times to put it on my motherboard but it was impossible to do so. As soon as I put the pins in the holes and activated the locking system, it would drop off! The plastic pins don't seem to be broken though, I guess my processor is just too high in relation to the base of the motherboard.
used as a replacement for the original fan on an intel I3 skylake
no overheating nickel mounting and enough thermal paste on it no need to add any more is perfect for the price/performance ratio for a small gamming desktop pc
All the negative reviews from other customers are true, the clips are of the worst quality, if you force it you risk bending it, if you don't stuff it, it doesn't fit, basically to put this more than low end ventirad on, you risk damaging it, as well as your other components. Secondly, it's not powerful so if you're asking for more than just surfing the web, your CPU will heat up very quickly.
Believe me, it's better to put a little more money into your cooler than to change it 3 times. This is a very poor product. To top it all off, mine gave out on me after a month.
I have nothing to say, the order was well packaged and the delivery was very fast, so I think it's great to continue like this until the next time I place an order, thank you and see you soon :) :) :)
As per my wishes, intended to replace my old fan, it is the price that attracted me at first, but frankly, its best asset is the silence.
In short: easy to install, quiet, efficient, and affordable!
The fan was ordered to fit on an i6600K that I bought to mount my new configuration with an asus Z 170 Pro gaming. I am really not disappointed, easy to install and really quiet.
Simple to install and quiet operation, I can hardly hear my PC running, it's a real life saver having an old and very noisy fan.
Mounted on an Intel Core I3 processor (3,7GHz)
As a self employed computer maintenance contractor, my customers are happy with the fan I recently installed for them. I recommended you if they were looking for cheap parts ;)
Bought to replace the original fan on an I5 750 so mounted on a socket 1156 with no worries.
Note that thermal paste is already applied!
Otherwise rather quiet fan compared to the original but at fixed speed.

Good alternative to replace a basic fan, to have a little more silence, but not made to overcool an Overclock.
