my old Eaton inverter was broken, but this one does the job perfectly. there's not much more to say, 8 sockets, you plug it in and it's ready to go!
One star less for the lack of software, fast delivery, ok packaging, compliant product, to be seen in use and in the long term.
I have had this device for my new house for 3 months now, and it regularly has micro outages from 2 seconds to a few minutes.
I have nothing but good things to say about it.
I already wanted something quiet. Well, it's perfect in that respect. I forget it's there, I don't hear it.
And when I do hear it, it's because there's a break (a little beep that's not too frequent, and can be deactivated).
I also really like the comfort of the "eco mode", which consists in deactivating two eco plugs when the master plug does not consume anything anymore (mode deactivated by default, to be activated via the software).
So I put my amp (which distributes audio and video) on the master, and I put my secondary screen and the subwoofer on the 2 eco sockets. That way I don't have to turn off the subwoofer when I turn off the power, and I don't have to put the screen to sleep. Of course these eco sockets are not powered by the batteries in case of a power cut, but it's not a drama to lose the second screen and the bass in case of a power cut, there's more priority as a worry in these moments!
The batteries, what can I say? I don't know, I've never run out. I have a greedy gamer PC and the software tells me that with the current consumption the batteries will last 34 minutes (I have a game running in the background). That's a pretty long time to have time to shut down the PC properly. Maybe even finish the current instance here.
The software that allows you to monitor the health of the UPS and to configure it is very good. Simple, sober, efficient. And it keeps track of the alarms encountered. When I tell you that I forget the existence of the UPS, I have just erased 43 alarms that appeared in 3 months.
TL;DR: good number of outlets, silent, eco mode, efficient batteries, simple software.
I recommend, and note the quality of this product for any other purchase of the same kind.
Very good quality/price ratio. I have connected my NAS synology, my fixed microphone on the backup part and I have connected in addition on the regulated part: 2 screens 27 & 32 inches, a mini switch, the box, the speaker kit. No worries for the moment, we'll see at the first power cut. But I am confident, I had previously a model 800, which was only used for the NAS and which worked very well during power cuts.
I am completely satisfied with the reliability and small footprint of Eaton inverters.
I have bought several and have never experienced any malfunction.
I wanted a simple use, without excessive settings, to compensate for frequent power cuts.
This inverter supports a PC (450 W), a home server (250 W), a HD TV (120 W), a freebox and two consoles (PS4 and XBox 360, not permanently connected!).
Very discreet (thin black case) and silent, it has already done its job 2-3 times since the purchase... (a small beep warns you in case of a power cut, which gives you time to stop the equipment if necessary).

Getting a tailor-made power distribution, 2 switches, 1 firewall, 1 NAS, 1 4-disk backup tower, and a small server appliance is a piece of cake.
It is totally silent and fanless.
Coming from an Ellipse ECO 1200, which has gone to redundancy for the Wi-Fi part, I can only recommend it.
Very good product, accompanied by the ups companion software (free download). Perfect for protecting your workstation and multimedia equipment. This 1600VA model allows you to protect a total of 1000W of equipment, so it's quite a lot.
The product was delivered on time and I would rate it 3.5. The product was perfect and well packed in the box, but the outer box was torn and damaged. No problem plugging it in, easy to use instructions.
So, I give the product a 5 star rating as it is as described and reviewed but...
