Nice product, a little noisy, works well, but after storing it for 2 years without turning it on, it no longer starts. I'm going to send an email to Eaton customer service to find out if the batteries need changing.
I bought this UPS as a replacement for a Belkin, which died when I was 17... It's more compact, a bit more powerful (1600VA vs 1500VA), and offers some new functions - in particular turning off food peripherals when the PC is switched off. So far, so good.
The UPS Companion software is basic. The Belkin software provided clearer monitoring, system testing, etc.
The problem: the UPS power cable is missing, as is the CD with the software and the pdf of the user manual.
It's silly.
It's no big deal because I've already got a cable, which I know how to find on the internet. But it does mean that one star is missing.
product as expected, easy to install, more than enough sockets. Easy to install, adjustable monitoring and test software. Very high electrical reserve time on battery with power off. Very good build quality.
