2 condenser microphone inputs and 2 headphone outputs
Like the AG06MK2, channels 1 and 2 of the AG08 are equipped with phantom power to support condenser microphones, a type of microphone that is very popular with the public. condenser microphones, a type of microphone favoured by musicians and dialogue-based content creators for its exceptional sensitivity and fidelity. Thanks to theAG08 Controller application dedicated to all types of stereo microphones, including ASMR microphones, you can also position the sound left and right.
In addition, two independent headphone control channels are provided for situations where two people are broadcasting a conversation, or where someone other than the performers is managing the audio.
The signal from multiple applications on a USB-connected computer or analogue line inputs can be assigned individually to the AG08's channel 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8 faders. As a result, you can intuitively mix LINE/USB audio signals via physical control of the faders. Conversely, the AG08's three mixed USB outputs can be individually assigned to various PC applications via a USB connection.
The combination of these functions offers greater ease and flexibility of response in real time, notably by transmitting an optimal audio mix to chat partners or listeners during live chats and streaming.
What's more, for ASIO-compatible applications such as DAW software, the direct output of each input channel (channels 1, 2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8) and three mixed channels can be used in parallel, enabling multi-channel recording even during live broadcasts.
Versatile, real-time control
At the bottom left of the AG08 console, four effects preset buttons allow you to switch instantly between custom effects presets on channel 1. This gives users versatile, real-time control to add just the right amount of effects - including the new voice modifier - especially when dubbing and performing live music.
AG08 is packed with high-quality effects to add colour, correction and enhancement to your vocal and musical signals. Grouped into the five categories described below, all the effects are processed by the on-board DSP, so there's no latency and no impact on computer processing. Details of each DSP effect can be set in theAG08 Controller application(Voice Modifier (CH1) / Amp Simulator (CH2) - Comp, EQ - Reverb, Delay - Ducker - Maximiser).
The AG08 Controller software allows users to easily and accurately check and configure acoustic effects processing (DSP), sound pads and flexible routing options.
