This ATEM Constellation mixer designed by Blackmagic Design features a compact rack-mount enclosure incorporating a control panel. This panel is used to operate the mixer, which is essential during installation and emergency situations. It also includes a large LCD screen for viewing programme output and changing mixer settings via on-screen menus. The compact enclosure is perfect for mobile live production, as the rear of the switcher includes connections for 3G-SDI inputs, aux outputs, balanced audio and Ethernet for control. This 4 M/E model offers RS-422 serial control and digital audio connections MAD I. Despite its power, the ATEM Constellation is very quiet thanks to its innovative thermal system. This powerful ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD live production switcher includes 40 3G-SDI inputs, 24 3G-SDI outputs, 4 DVEs, 16 ATEM Advanced Keyers, 4 MultiViews and 2 SuperSources for a total of 12 DVEs.

The ATEM Constellation 4 M/E offers up to 40 independent 3G-SDI inputs. It gives you the ability to loop audio channels 1, 2, 3 and 4 from SDI inputs 1 to 30 to the two digital audio outputs.digital audio outputs MADI, to transfer audio from the mixer input to an external sound engineer for mixing. The ATEM Constellation 4 M/E incorporates 24 SDI outputs. These powerful SDI outputs allow any SDI input or internal source to be routed independently to each SDI output. This is ideal for routing independent feeds to on-stage monitors, master recorders and streaming processors.

With over 40 multi-rate SDI input connections, theATEM Constellation 4 M/E is compatible with all video sources. You can connect equipment in HDTV standards, including 720p, 1080i and 1080p formats. Only multi-rate SDI lets you switch between formats to instantly adapt to the needs of your production, anywhere in the world! SDI inputs also handle embedded audio and audio mix from all video inputs.
TheATEM Constellation is the first live production switcher that fully meets the needs of professional live audio productions. All SDI inputs are connected to an integrated Fairlight audio mixer, which includes a 6-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, expander and noise gate on each input. This ATEM 4 M/E Constellation model has 2 MADI outputs to route channels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the first 30 SDI inputs to an SDI engineer. inputs to an external sound engineer, plus 1 input MADI to accommodate a further 32 external audio channels in the audio mixer.
