    Not great - decline in quality

    This device is a replacement for my old Onkyo TX-NR636 which gave up after 7 years.
    You can quickly notice the drop in quality and functions, no more phono plug (so you have to buy a pre-amp to use a turntable), lower sound quality (for information, the TX-NR636 was sold for 400€, that is 200€ less)... the device is less heavy, the connection plugs of the speakers are with clamps and not with screws (except for the front speakers).

    The unit does the job overall and is easy to set up, but at this price (and again, thank you LDLC for the competitive price compared to the competition), I expected better.
