The product is very good. Flat and light, it can be powered directly by USBC or connected to USBC + HDMI.
The pouch doubles as a stand and is simple and well thought out. We'd just like an extra pocket to store the cables, but that's a minor detail.
Perfect for meetings when you're on the move. Thin, light and space-saving. Always in my rucksack, always ready to use.
It draws a lot from the laptop's battery, so make sure you have something to charge it while you're using it.
Bought as a secondary screen, this Asus laptop screen, although appearing to be generally well made (solid and light product, with nice finishes as well as a 6.35mm screw thread and practical accessories), seemed to me to have a somewhat dull and uneven panel. Next to 2 other screens of the same brand (a 2013 Asus IPS 23" screen and the 13" IPS screen of a 2016 Asus ZenBook laptop) and less expensive (~180€ for the first one at a time when IPS were expensive, the screen of a laptop at 800€ for the second one), this one has a more uneven (brightness and colorimetry are not uniform) and duller / less contrasted screen. I have tried different settings without ever being able to reach the visual of the other 2 screens. In conclusion, this is a rather disappointing product (but which could do the trick if you are not too demanding on the colorimetry of the slab which is not catastrophic either) and finally returned for refund.
