Screen blocked, reset inoperative, ASUS after-sales service not provided after warranty expired
I bought this screen in 2019 and, after a few weeks of flawless operation, it froze for no particular reason, and turned into a brick! A few weeks later, after a call to the after-sales service and a few exchanges with Asus, I tested it again and it worked perfectly ... This episode repeated itself from time to time, over a few years: working perfectly, suddenly freezing, inoperative reset, then after a more or less long rest period, in weeks, the screen restarted.
I had to use the screen again last month, and again, after three weeks of use, it turned into a brick!
I called Asus support, who simply told me that they don't repair LCDs after the warranty has expired. They told me to contact an independent repairer.
So there you have it, good to know if you buy an ASUS screen, after the end of the warranty, they wash their hands of it!
