    Corsair, what more could you ask for?

    A replacement for a Corsair Obsidian 700D that didn't have good enough Airflow, this case makes up for the weaknesses of its ancestor for today's configurations. The only drawback is the vertical mounting of the graphics card, in addition to the Riser that has to be purchased as an extra. The tempered glass is not set back far enough for good airflow and increases the temperature of the GPU quite significantly (in my case, a 3070 ROG Strix). Apart from this detail, which is purely cosmetic, the rest of the case is extremely complete and allows you to set up a crazy Airflow and therefore keep your PC cooler during intensive gaming sessions, especially in summer.

    Quiet for a few years

    I'm far from being an expert but I'm adding my opinion because I'm satisfied and I've never had any problems with it. The more technically advanced CPUs/GPUs become, the more they consume... But it's going to be a while before the power supply is obsolete! I bought it because I knew I was going to build a PC that I would upgrade as much as possible. In 2024, it'll be the 3rd CPU GPU upgrade (Arrow Lake S and 5XXX RTX) and it'll go down without a hitch.

    A very beautiful case, always super well thought and with small improvement compared to old case which are pleasing to see. In short it's still quality and well thought out cases with a lot of space to put what you want (including for cable management), just a small downside on the tempered glass window, it has no metal "edge" to protect it and is therefore directly exposed, so be very careful when disassembling it, even if it means putting a towel or something that cushions if ever it finds itself down suddenly and therefore risk of breakage. Apart from this small black point, it's a really beautiful case.

    5000d airflow

    A well known box! It is a standard of good equipment and the rating confirms this. However, let's mention the few shortcomings:
    - Despite its size, some liquid coolers will not fit on top (depending on the motherboard/ ram etc). The Arctic liquid freezer II 360 does not fit ... you have to mount the fans in a pullover on the top of the tower (fortunately covered by the case's grill)
    - the fans supplied are not the quietest in the world, but they seem to be efficient nonetheless.
    - heavy and not very mobile. If you move your PC often ... it may not be the best choice!

    It is still much more expensive than the 4000d airflow which does not seem to be qualitatively inferior, even if it offers more space and mounting options. The cable management is greatly facilitated by the cable glands and scratches ... the front connectors are easy to plug in, accessible and of good quality ... a very good case if your hardware selection is compatible and if you like to have (relatively) space.
