Excellent motherboard, good performance, very easy to set up, small defect, the connectors for the Sys fan are not very well placed, apart from that, the RGB is powerful, without sending us in the face, design just perfect.
Performance at the level
On the other hand, the CD drivers are obsolete. The audio driver from the MSI site should be avoided, use the one from the Microsoft store...
The HDD LED is still on. My case was working with the old card and MSI advised me to reverse the + and - pins...
I am really satisfied with ldlc.com for the speed of their service and even more so by MSI, who offers us a quality motherboard!
Indeed, this choice follows the desire to build a new gaming-oriented configuration and thus accompany a brand new AMD Ryzen 3700X. To date, I can say that this "MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro" meets all my expectations.
Among the positive points, I note:
* The presence of a quality Wifi (essential component of my choice, goodbye to the PLC, I quadrupled my speed since) and Bluetooth (although I encounter some quirks from time to time to connect my smartphone, no doubt Windows)
* The design is quite flattering, the CM is really beautiful especially when the composition around it lends itself to it
* The quality of manufacture, it breathes robustness
* The presence of 2 M.2 slots and 6 SATA slots, which leaves a nice margin for evolution
* Easy installation
* Inaudible chipset fan (a point I was a bit worried about with the new X570 chipsets)
* The bios is really easy to use, it's reassuring especially when you don't like to put your hands in it
* I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one.
* I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy the X570, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy the X570 and the X570, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy the X570. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one.
Among the negative points, not much to tell the truth:
* The MSI Mystic Light software is a little lacking in ergonomics
* The cable of the Wifi antenna is a bit short, which prevents me from placing the antenna correctly on my desk (although this does not affect the quality of the network)
In the end, this CM is an excellent investment and despite a price that may still put some people off, it has a great future ahead of it!
Excellent in every way.
I redid my configuration as mine was very old and that changes!
The motherboard is aesthetically very beautiful (and yes it counts when you make a configuration to be exposed!).
The addition of integrated Wifi is a huge plus for me, I was wondering when the manufacturers were going to get around to it.
The PCIe 4 standard is there and is a welcome addition.
I can't see any flaws with this X570 so far, well done MSI.
Discreet RGB so I'm fine with that.
This motherboard is an excellent reference for those who do not have the possibility to connect to ethernet. The antenna is excellent and allows you to use the maximum bandwidth available in WiFi (I get up to 99Mbps in download on 5Ghz WiFi).
The motherboard is easy to assemble and has protection and cooling pads for its 2 M.2 SSD ports. The PCI express slots for the graphics cards are spaced far enough apart to fit 2 of them, and both are reinforced.
The manuals supplied with the motherboard are relatively easy to follow. Several SATA cables are supplied with the motherboard, one of which is angled.
Be careful when mounting to connect your SATA disks before the graphics card which may cover the ports on the motherboard.
For the BIOS, nothing to complain about, it is rather simple to use and intuitive.
The MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI has top of the range features and cooling and the results are there
Assembly: the assembly is simple with notably the rear panel without front panel to clip on. I don't know if it's the case or the CM (certainly the case) but one of the screw slots was too far out of place to place this screw serenely, but the 7 others are more than enough. However, a big negative point is the placement of the SATAs: the 4 main ones are located right under the graphics card slot, making them difficult to access. In my case, I had a problem with the BIOS display and I had to place the boot SSD in SATA1 with the GPU set to blind
BIOS : the BIOS v6 from MSI is good and allows to have all the information. However, once the graphic buttons are pressed, we have the same classic "drop down" list. We would have liked real drop down lists allowing us to have all the parameters in order to avoid looking for them from left to right. For example, we would have liked to avoid having to sort out options such as 'advanced' which is an all-level oven designation.
The LED's are surprisingly powerful, I wasn't expecting that for a CM.
The chipset is still at 60°C in iddle
The soft built into the Dragon Center to handle RGB works perfectly with the basic AMD wraith cooler and especially with other brands of RAM. This is the most functional part of the Dragon Center as the rest is a hodgepodge of little third party tools that have been bought and shoehorned in. The Smart tool could be useful if it didn't offer to make a win7 (!) ISO for CM drivers other than the x570 (! bis)
I'm into details, but at this price, you pay for details like this, which are related to high performance on the one hand and user comfort on the other; and it's this second point that is behind the eprformancs
This motherboard is a bomb, not only in its look (simple rgb, addressable and corsair link) but also in its functions:
The msi bios is the most intuitive I've seen
I'm waiting for my ssd pcie v4 to test this point
The oc of my 3600x and my ram is doing its job despite the 8 pin connector (the cm is 8+4)
To sum up: beautiful, useful and pleasant, what more could you ask for?
I was looking to upgrade my configuration, having never been disappointed by MSI products I continue on this path.
I've never been disappointed with MSI products, so I'm going to continue with this one. I'm a big fan of Intel, and with the power of AMD, I was immediately seduced by this card.
The PCIe 4.0 for M2 cards, the wifi 6 I think to be quiet a moment before another upgrade of configuration.
Waiting for the 3900x to be available so I can take advantage of all this
No 10G LAN included, I will buy a separate card in due course.
Please note that the network cables must be CAT6 to be able to take advantage of the 10G
