    A little disappointed...

A bit disappointed with this motherboard, bought for use with a Ryzen 5800x:

    - despite the fact that I received the latest revision 1.2, supposed to support the latest Ryzen (according to Gigabyte's website), I had to flash the bios, otherwise, no boot... Fortunately, Gigabyte provides a way to do it without a recognized installed processor (because otherwise, hello the galley), but the explanations are non-existent in the manual, and very brief on the Gigabyte site, so passage by a tuto on youtube ... In short, in the end it works, but you have to be comfortable with this kind of operation...

    - no PS/2 port: that's my fault, I expected it to be standard, so I didn't check... out goes the NKRO mechanical keyboard in PS/2, hello, USB adapter that limits the said keyboard to 6KRO...

    - a new connector for the power supply has appeared since my old generation (I7-4790k)... fortunately, it is not necessary for a Ryzen 5800x, but it might be for a more muscular processor, like the 5900x or 5950x... so plan a new power supply or an adapter

In short, in the end, it works, but if I had to do it again, I'm not sure I'd go for this model again (which, on the other hand, has very good feedback for virtualization, which was the reason for my initial choice)

    Total Deception

I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for a long time.
Now it doesn't boot at all, even no access to the bios, the leds oscillate ... and it seems to be common on X570 chipsets

    medium

I had a problem with the bios when I installed it, impossible to update it on the net, I had to make a bootable usb key in fat32.
The doc that explained how to do it was not clear at all, it was simple but without any explanation.
I had to buy an ethernet card to use with my motherboard. I had to buy an ethernet card in pci (I didn't want to send my card back as it's my work tool).
I've been using it for a while now, but it's not really working, except for a long boot time.

Great motherboard, everything I needed is there.

So, I have a ryzen 3900X with this CM and frankly I had a galley with the bios maj at first. But after a bios rectification at gigabyte for this CM just in the month of my purchase, everything turned out perfectly after the F18-21 bios maj, little problem of compatibility with my ram with the base bios.
But it's great, lots of fan connectors, lots of slots, lots of space, lots of OC options, lots of features.
I'm happy with this purchase, I would have risked the ultra version for the wifi ax if I had the use of it but I'm wired so it wouldn't have done me any good.
It's a good deal for this level of quality, if not go for the elite version of the B550 it's great too.

    complete but...

    config
    aorus AC 300G box
    ldlc 1000 power supply
    Gygabite RX 5700 XT
    Amd Ryzen 7 3700 X
    Gskill Ripjaws 3200 mhz

    The pluses
    Very complete motherboard
    the leds are very nice

    the - :
    - I have to be careful to do the bios upgrade because my cg was not recognized and therefore no screen. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a new one, but it's a good idea to have a new one, because it's a good idea to have a new one.
    - I have a problem when I restart the pc the VGA led stays on and no screen. On the other hand, if I turn it off completely and turn it back on it works. a ticket is open at gigabyte, I am waiting for news.
