Connected inverter, but in the cloud!
High-performance inverter, with APC quality, I have no fears about reliability!
However, I was very disappointed with the connectivity; indeed, the network connectivity actually requires a connection to the Internet for the inverter to communicate with the APC platform... It is true that it sends back information on their smartconnect.apc.com platform (such as estimated holding time, power, temperature, input and output voltage, load rate as well as the possibility to send alerts by email) but it is not possible to retrieve the information locally, such as SNMP to make graphs, which is disappointing.
Thus, it is necessary to go through the serial link to be able to inform in the event of a power cut to switch off the machines properly.
