The XPC Barebone Shuttle SZ270R8 is designed for 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors for socket LGA 1151 and offers a stylish case design. The aluminium case cover with a brushed black surface has a volume of 14 litres, which is just one third of the volume of a standard Mini tower. Despite its small dimensions, it is packed with features.
The Shuttle SZ270R8 will accommodate 6th and 7th generation LGA1151 processors. It has two M.2 SSD slots (SATA or PCIe), four 3.5" hard disk bays with RAID support (0, 1, 5, 10, JBOD) and can accommodate up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory. Configurations without a dedicated graphics card are possible, as the Intel Skylake and Kaby Lake generation offers processors with powerful integrated graphics chips with low power consumption.

Shuttle's patented heat pipe cooling technology ensures constant system stability and low noise levels (dynamic fan control). The hot air is not simply circulated in the case as with conventional solutions, but is blown directly out of the case.
