Sleek and compact design with optimal RF performance

TheUniFi AC Lite AP offers a cleaner design with a smaller foot print - half the size of typical UniFi APs. The redesigned UniFi controller optimizes RF performance with its ultra-compact design, providing an effective combination of price and performance while reducing its footprint. TheUniFi AC Lite AP offers dual band and 2x2 MIMO technology simultaneously.

Scalable enterprise Wi-Fi management

The UniFi v4 controller is a powerful enterprise wireless network management software solution ideal for high-density customer environments requiring low latency and excellent uptime. With its extensive software capabilities, the UniFi Virtual Configuration Console allows for unlimited scalability with a single centralized control interface. Access the UniFi controller remotely to update your UniFi access point network while in the field.

Advanced Network Management

UniFi is the revolutionary Wi-Fi system that combines enterprise-class performance, unlimited scalability, and a centralized management system. UniFi 802.11AC dual-band access points have a sleek industrial design and can be easily installed with the included mounting kit. Manageable from any browser, the UniFi Controller is the perfect software solution for quickly configuring and administering an enterprise Wi-Fi network without the need for prior training. RF map, performance management, real-time status, automatic detection of new elements and advanced security options are all built right into the software.

Cost savings without compromise

Don't waste time and money on traditional enterprise Wi-Fi systems that use a hardware controller, UniFi comes with its own software controller that can be deployed on any PC, Mac or Linux, in a private or even public cloud network. The powerful hardware of the UniFi 802.11AC dual-band access points offers the latest advances in 802.11AC MIMO Wi-Fi technology while being remotely controlled by the UniFi controller. No matter what size network you're looking to build, feel free to start with a UniFi Access Point and then add more if it meets your needs!

Increase your coverage

With the UniFi Controller running in a NOC or in the Cloud, network administrators can manage multiple sites, whether they are distributed networks to external vendors, internally managed by yourself, or by a service provider. For example, you can use the UniFi controller to simulate thousands of UniFi access points, map your network, manage your traffic, and plan for new extensions. The RF Map allows you to monitor and analyse radio frequencies for ideal access point placement and configuration includingWi-Fi spectrum analysis, Airtime Fairness problematic client management and Band Steering to push them to use 5 GHz channels. All of these tools make managing a large number of clients much easier and more efficient.

Guest Portal/Hotspot Management

Full customization and configuration options for guest portals includeidentification, hotspot management and the ability to use your own external portal server. With UniFi's rate limiting system, you can fine-tune your hotspot. Apply different bandwidths depending on the client or the option selected, limit the total amount of data used or the duration of use.
  • Unique code identification
  • Hotspotmanagement with unique code creation, guest management and refunds
  • Full customisation and branding of the homepage

Multi-site management

A single UniFi controller running in the cloud can manage multiple sites, whether it's multiple deployments or outsourced management. Each site is separated to have its own configuration, maps, statistics, guest portal and administrator accounts. The UniFi controller can manage flexible configurations and large deployments, as well as create multiple WLAN groups and assignthem tospecific access points.

Good, but watch out for updates

Replaces very effectively the (shamefully anemic) wifi of my freebox one. It covers my entire house (170 M2 with floor) in 2.4Ghz and efficiently sprays the living room in 5Ghz. It is necessary to install an application on a PC in order to configure and monitor its activity, but this is not a constraint in the sense that this application does not have to run permanently. Once configured, the Access Point is autonomous. Note that you need to have some knowledge of the network to avoid getting lost in all the menus. They are numerous and regular at the moment (end of 2021), but unfortunately very hazardous :-(. I found one, by trial and error, which does the job with my equipment and I avoid rushing to the new ones (4.3.28 very stable, 5.43.46 faster but more capricious). I tested with 2 equivalent APs, it's quite magical and the remote application takes its meaning. Only one visible network, automatic switchover, better coverage management, etc. However, only 1 AP is enough for my needs, I keep the other one for my next garden parties ;-)

    Adopted by the family.

Bought to equip a large house
After half an hour of training (but I'm not used to these products), the device responds perfectly.
The device responds perfectly. All the equipment in the house is now connected to the wifi which works perfectly.

It is connected in POE only on an Ethernet cable connected to the box and the wifi speed is very very satisfactory.
It's been connected for 15 days and in intensive use (it's the school holidays...), and all is well.
It is not hot to the touch and works without any interruption.

    I recommend it.

    It works well

The configuration is not great: you need a phone to install the application that will allow you to find your wifi access point. I put it behind a revolution freebox whose wifi is slow in terms of speed. Once the wifi point is found by the app (that's the hard part), then it's fast and works very well.
    For :
It works great now, the speeds are very correct compared to the wifi of the freebox, and even if there are several devices connected at the same time.
It's a good idea to have a power supply included in the box.

Cons: no small Ethernet cable provided, so 2 cables are needed: one between the router and the power supply, the other between the power supply and the wifi point = provide 2 Ethernet cables, CAT 6 at least but largely sufficient.
The app has difficulty finding the wifi point at the start, so don't hesitate to reboot the wifi point.
    In the end :
Once installed, since 2 months, no problem to report.

    Very good product

Requires a Wi-Fi Controller, otherwise works very well and has good range with many configuration options
