Pay attention to your connection needs: the SATA side has additive wiring to power the case fan, so it is imperative to use it. You must have a free MOLEX FEMALE socket on a MOLEX ribbon cable! otherwise ... buy here an adapter: SATA Male to Molex Female Power Adapter at 4,94 €.

The fan only starts if there is a disk. It is immediately recognized under Windows 10, the disk can be inserted easily.
