TheICY DOCK ToughArmor RAID MB902SPR-B is a rugged metal enclosure with two removable drive bays. It supports two 2.5" SATA or SSD hard drives in a single 5.25" bay of your computer/workstation. With the built-in hardware RAID 1 chipset and easy-to-read RAID status LED indicators, you can easily mirror 2.5" drives for data redundancy without adding a RAID card or RAID monitoring software on the host. In addition, the central processing unit (CPU) is normally required to calculate a RAID, but the MB902SPR-B is an alternative, as it already has a RAID chipset that frees up the CPU and speeds up the whole system. Therefore, the MB902SPR-B is a perfect removable drive enclosure for mission-critical computer systems that not only makes your system run faster but also provides protection for your critical data.

The ToughArmor MB902SPR-B RAID is equipped with easy-to-read RAID status LED indicators so users can understand the current status of the drive without using RAID monitoring software.
These removable all-metal EZ-Slide trays, found throughout the ToughArmor line, allow you to install or remove drives from 5mm to 15mm high without opening the enclosure or turning off the computer.
The robust metal chassis and platters ensure maximum drive security and help dissipate heat. An integrated anti-vibration mechanismhelps reduce noise and protects against environmental damage. Large ventilation holes are placed around the enclosure to work with your computer's cooling system to keep drives at an optimal temperature
Finally, the ToughArmor MB902SPR-B supports 7-pin SATA data cables and 15-pin power cables with locking latches, so you'll never have to worry about unintentionally unplugging cables from the case. Once the cables are connected, they stay in place.
