The computer lets you change the PC's mode by hand, switching from silent to performance, but performance mode is bloody noisy! In any case, it's good value for money, and the fact that it has an extra slot for a second ssd is a real bonus, even if it doesn't really appreciate it when it's first used.

You need to allow 1h-1h30 for the first start-up before you can start playing (Windows 11 update without bypass option, driver update, etc.). Problem with the sound card driver but quickly resolved by reinstalling the driver from the official GIGABYTE site.
Good quality keyboard.
A little noisy in normal mode (Youtube, chrome etc...) and very noisy in game mode.
Very nice screen and good resolution.
HDMI, power and USB C ports are on the back of the PC, but other USB, jack and microphone ports are available on the sides.
Good computer, responsive and pleasant with its backlit keyboard. For gaming, no problem, I installed Star Wars OUtlaws.
The only downsides, but you can't have everything for this price, are the very noisy ventilation in game mode, although with headphones it's still OK, and the battery life, 3.5 hours in office mode and 1 hour in game mode.
I had a big scare when I updated to Windows 11, as the sound device had disappeared, but fortunately everything went back to normal with a new update.
The computer is pleasant and almost silent when you touch the keyboard. Possibility of doubling the ram.
In short, I recommend this computer.
Received a month ago, this laptop is very well suited to the way I use it, i.e. exclusively for gaming.
However, I haven't yet tested any games more demanding than Horizon, which runs perfectly.
There were several problems with the pre-installed drivers when the computer arrived (mainly loss of sound, obviously I'm not the only one), but the only solution was to format it, and I haven't had any problems since.
If I had to note one black spot, it would be the sound, which is really not good. So I prefer to play with external sound equipment.
After a month and a half of use, I'm delighted with my purchase.
I've boosted this laptop with a second 2TB SSD, which means I'm comfortable using either drive.
The keyboard is a bit confusing, however, in terms of the way the keys are 'written': the top number keys are written differently from my other keyboards, with the lower-case key from top to bottom, the numbers in the middle and the 'altGr' at the bottom (see photo). Usually, the numbers are at the top and this layout is a bit confusing.
The keyboard (complete with numeric keypad) is pleasant to the touch and easy to use, with its adjustable backlighting.
Last but not least, the power port, HDMI output and USB-C port on the back of the laptop, under the screen. Why not?
In use, it's not the fastest PC in the world to boot up, but for office use, it's fast enough.
One thing to know about this PC: blue screens, freezes, sound problems (uninstall the Realtek audio application) touchpad problems (uninstall the application too) this is linked to a problem with the drivers and applications that are preinstalled in the version of Windows supplied with the PC (so formatting the PC to put back a Windows 11 family didn't make me lose your Windows licence) command prompt MAJ +F10 + command obbe\bypassnro if you don't have an RJ45 female cable for updates when installing Windows.
*The PC works very well, once Windows 11 reinstalled, no blue screen, then also download Gigabyte Control Center via the official website.
Temperature level,
The temperature is the same for all other manufacturers.
it's the processor that heats up, vary the preferences, it's in the Gigabyte Control Center application and in Windows power mode.
I played battlefield 4 / Fortnite CS2 and other games in ultra/high without any problem.
In the most energy-efficient mode, the temperature stays between 65° and 75°, admittedly it takes some fps, but the PC doesn't heat up much.
Normal mode, the temperature stays between 80° 95° and in
Optimum performance mode, the PC reaches 85° 95°, sometimes almost 100°. So if all the energy level settings are at maximum, if you can change the thermal paste and also buy a Cooler Master NotePal U3, that's perfect.
My PC overheats quickly, causing blue screens, even with undemanding games like Fortnite. It works well with older games like League of Legends or Dofus, but I'm afraid it won't hold up when trying other games. What's more, the sound stopped working after just 5 days. I'm thinking of returning it.

Overall, I'd recommend this product.
It's a big, lousy PC with blue screens galore, and from the very first launch it's a complete rip-off!
I received my computer and from the first day there were only blue screen problems (27 in 7 days).
I sent it back (had to wait without it for 2 to 3 weeks) and again the same problems when it came back.
I have a computer that can crash at any time for no reason (not even need to use greedy software)
I took too much time and I can no longer get a refund.

It's a very fast PC. I use it with photo editing software. It's a nice change from my old PC.
It takes about 10 seconds to start up. Impressive.
Negative points:
They can make quite a bit of noise when the fans are running at full speed, and the battery doesn't last long.
Opinion posted after a few days' use.
Product fully complies with the description and was purchased for mixed "study" / "gaming" use. My selection criteria were to find the best compromise between power, a good graphics card, sufficient storage, a recognised brand, a reasonable weight and a price.
I've received my product and it's everything I expected. Great image quality, no lag at the moment, even on games that pump (Mafia IV). I'm going to install an extra SSD and increase the ram at a later date. The battery is holding up well (although we'd hoped it would over a month), and recharges quickly. Ergo keyboard, pleasant to the touch.
One flaw? Yes, a big one: the sound. It's a real horror. Frankly, you get the impression that nothing has been done at all in this area. I changed handsets because my old one was 12 years old and, despite all the maintenance, formatting and so on, it was starting to get a bit slow. But its sound quality was infinitely better.
Overall, I'm still very satisfied with the product, as well as with LDLC's quality of service.
Ordered from the French overseas departments, received very quickly (4 days). All in all, a product 40% cheaper than the equivalent from local distributors. The PC is magnificent and performs at its level. +1 for the silent fan mode.
It's a great PC, it's fluid, it's got excellent resolution and I can't even mention the 1TB and the 16", which are virtually impossible to find at this price. If your budget is in the region of €1,000, then I think you'll find it hard to beat these prices on the market. However, there are two problems: the battery, but it's a laptop, so that's to be expected, and the fans can become quite noisy when the processor gets a bit too excited.

Quick to install and get up and running.
Received one month ago. Delivery in less than 48 hours. PC working as soon as received, nothing to do apart from configure windows and install favourite software.
I spent some time looking for a PC that would suit me, without going overboard with the price, and I haven't found any offer that competes with this one with an equivalent configuration. At this price, you generally have to make a concession on at least one of the elements of the configuration (512 GB SSD, 8 GB Ram, i5 processor, or RTX 4050...) or pay 200 to 300€ more.
Here, the processor, graphics card and Ram are more than enough to play recent games smoothly and with good resolution. The 1TB SSD memory is a welcome addition at first, and can be expanded thanks to the second free slot (good to know). Quick start-up and good responsiveness when switching on the PC and software.
The main drawback is the fairly loud fan noise. But on the plus side, the PC case doesn't heat up excessively and using noise-reducing headphones is enough to stop you hearing it.
In short, this is a good, affordable PC for people who want to enjoy playing all kinds of games (from the old ones to the most recent) without going in for perfect performance optimisation (which comes at a price).
